Description Dell's Large Enterprise Americas Sales division is seeking Software and Peripherals sales candidates to join one of the Corporate sales segments within Dell. We are looking for sales professionals who are viewed as trusted business advisors to the customer and use in-depth knowledge of Dell's technology, products and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction. Sales Representatives in this position are responsible for selling the company's Software & Peripheral products and services via telephone to optimize corporate sales. Software & Peripheral sales reps will qualify, question, position and overcome objections with every customer. Responsibilities include:
Growing S&P penetration and managing relationships with retention accounts while developing new relationships with acquisition customers. Proactively sell S&P products through active engagement with sales teams, OUTBOUNDING directly to customers and managing interaction with your partners. Provide technical and administrative information and price quotes. Provide updated marketing/sales literature to prospective clients, keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company Managing a pipeline of sales opportunities, using a forecast to track those opportunities and effective closing skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: To help in the early establishment of solid customer relationships, it's critical that applicants are able to effectively communicate over the phone and have the ability to multi-task. Individuals must have a strong aptitude for systems applications and be up-to-date with the latest business solutions and emerging technologies in software and peripherals. Sell Dell products and services by responding to inbound or placing outbound customer calls, determining needs, overcoming objections, and providing solutions. Establish customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel such as purchasing, management and end-users. Forecast attainment utilizing segment provided reporting tools. Present and demonstrate products and services to potential customers at trade shows and/or on-site to increase exposure of products and services. Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors' products and pricing.
Qualifications Qualifications: Preferred applicants will have proven selling ability in their current/previous position and previous experience in a commissioned sales environment. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 2-3 years of sales or related experience is preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills. Ability to project a positive sales attitude. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
