Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to investigators for further review. Conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary.

Qualifications:
· Coding Certificate (CPC, CCS-P, or CCS) required
· 2+ years of coding experience including experience abstracting ICD-9s required
· Intermediate MS Excel knowledge required
· HR policy and procedures is required
· 2+ years management experience
· 2+ years CPT coding experience
· Strong communication skills
· Medicare Advantage/HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) Coding experience
· Previous experience managing remote employees
· Medicaid CPT and ICD-9 coding experience for multiple states
· Inpatient and Outpatient coding experience
· Provider education and presentation skills
