Job Description:
Perform professional work requiring the basic application and use of concepts, theories, practices, and terminology of accounting. Process various financial documents and data. Analyze data and prepare internal financial reports consistent with a basic understanding of the Institutional mission and vision, the role and goals of the business unit and the tasks and responsibilities of the Staff Accountant in the achievement of institutional and business unit goals. Guidelines and procedures are well established and a basic level of professional judgment is required.

Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:
· Accumulate, analyze, and summarize routine, detailed data in order to prepare routine statistical and financial reports and schedules
· Maintain accuracy of accounting records through regular analysis
· Complete and maintain timely accounting reconciliations of recurring transactions and accounts
· Review routine transactions for proper center and account coding
· Prepare journal entries to reflect adjustments, corrections and transfers
· Assign appropriate center and account numbers
